Position Overview:

Does it excite you to play a critical role in a large scale WMS implementation for a major Australian retailer? Are you passionate about optimising Supply Chain and DC operations and enhancing business processes? Are you a forward-thinker with a great aptitude for process innovation and continuous improvement? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a talented Supply Chain Business Systems and Process Manager to join our team and lead the change in our Supply Chain management strategies.

This is a Fixed term 9 month contract role.

 

 

Day to Day:

As the Supply Chain Business Systems and Process Manager, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining our Supply Chain and DC operations and maximising efficiencies across the business.

Systems Management: Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of the Warehouse Management System, ensuring seamless integration, and high-level process  functionality.

Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain; from procurement to distribution, and develop innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, and reduce cost of doing business.

Data Analysis: Utilise data analytics tools to gather insights into supply chain performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Distribution Centres, Retail Operations, Merchandise Planning, Logistics, and Inventory Management, to align Supply Chain processes with overall business objectives.

Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks within the Supply Chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions and ensure continuity of operations.

Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Supply Chain function, encouraging feedback and implementing best practices.

 

 

What you can bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, with a focus on business systems and process optimisation.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a track record of driving results in a fast-paced environment.
